      What went wrong. What our hosting providers says:-

      "So what happened to some services? As part of a clean-up process on the 123-reg VPS platform, a script was run at 7am on 16.04.16. This script is run to show us the number of machines active against the master database. An error on the script showed 'zero-records' response from the database for some live VPS. For those customers, this created a 'failure' scenario - showing no VM's and effectively deleting what was on the host. As a result of our team's investigations, we can conclude that the issues faced having resulted in some data loss for some customers. Our teams have been and continue to work to restore."

      The Yorkshire Indexers website was hosted on a Virutal Private Server (VPS) and we are currently awaiting further information from the company as to when they will be bringing the Yorkshire Indexers Website backup online. Due to issues with the provider in January of this year, the Yorkshire Indexers increased the frequency of the site backup to run daily at 04:00 hours. We therefore have a backup of the entire site, 3 hours prior to the script being run on Staturday 16th April 2016. Our backup file currently stands in excess of 8GB and contains over 140,000 photographs. There will no doubt be a delay in restoring the data.
